What on earth is variable data printing?

Great question, glad you asked.

Imagine you’re printing a batch of stickers, but instead of them all being identical like a boring pack of plain crisps, each one is unique—like a bag of jelly beans where every bite is a surprise. That’s variable data printing (VDP) in action!

It lets you switch up elements like names, numbers, QR codes, or even images across a print run without manually changing each design. Want individually numbered holographic security stickers? Done. Personalised labels with different names for your artisanal hot sauce empire? Easy. A thousand stickers with different inside jokes for your super niche meme brand? Say no more.

The best part? No extra hassle for you. Just send us the details, and we’ll work our VDP magic behind the scenes. It’s like having a cheat code for customization.

So you do variable data printing on vinyl stickers?

You’re damn right we do, and not just sequentially numbered stickers – we do all kinds of unique combinations of images, text and codes. Not only that, but we can do it on any of our sticker products, and any of the finishing/supply options, such as stickers on sheets or die cut stickers. So if you need 100 individual window stickers printed with a unique QR code that’s no problem at all.

We have developed software in-house to easily administer variable data into our workflow – and because we built it it has no limitations in terms of the amount of unique variables on each sticker.

What if I want variable data posters as well?

No. Problem. We can do the exact same deal with posters – for example, if you need a run of 100 posters with a unique qr code to match the window stickers in the previous example that’s all good. Likewise, if you need a different bible verse, football team crest or Wayne Gretzky quote on each poster… bring it on!

Is there a minimum run?

Nope – we can do a variable data run of one label if you like, although that wouldn’t in fact be variable data at all. Just data.
