It’s always nice to see people doing something a bit out of the ordinary with diginate.com prints. In this ongoing project Peter is producing a replica 60’s Paisley telecaster guitar.
The guitar print is a contour cut clear vinyl sticker. It was applied to the guitar body using an application tape – this is quite tricky to do so it’s best to have some experience of applying vinyl before attempting this. The body will be spray lacquered to finish it.
The matching pickguard was produced using our window stickers. The image is reverse printed onto clear self-adhesive vinyl and backed in white to prevent show-through. It was then applied to the back of a clear pickguard and trimmed out.
It’s a really nicely executed project – when we’ve got some pictures of the finished guitar will post them on the blog.
